MK 5009G is a 460V, 3 phase block saw with a 9 hp motor that as standard takes a 20" blade and can cut an 8" block in a single pass. But it does have an optional larger blade guard that will allow you to use a 24" blade. A precision screw feed mechanism allows the cutting head to be easily raised or lowered to the precise cutting depth you require. This design replaces the older 5008GH and has even better safety and transportation features.
The conveyor cart is built from heavy-duty cast aluminum. Equipped with GE NEMA 1 starter with NEMA 4 enclosure. Adjustable water supply for maximum blade protection. Friction lock prevents cutting head movement during use. Built-in tie-downs for safer saw transport. Ergonomically designed handle for reduced operator fatigue. Spherical rod ends are used to maintain proper cutting head alignment. Engine attachment is via four vibration isolation mounts. Equipped with a belt driven, self-priming centrifugal water pump that can be disengaged for dry cutting. Heavy-duty built-in forklift brackets allow lift to approach from front, back, or either side.
